Our school's mission is to make good use of all the resources God has given to mankind, and to nurture talents with character resembling Jesus through the proper and sound Christian education, and send them into the world to take on the role of light and salt of the World.
- We are a school registered as an alternative education organization in Daejeon Metropolitan City.
- We operate as a system that covers all grades from 1st grade to high school.
- In the morning, students study in an American Christian home school system, School of Tomorrow, which was developed more than 50 years ago and is widely used around the world. Each student uses English and learns at their own pace with individualized materials for each level of understanding.
- In the afternoons, students work in groups or individually with top-notch volunteer teachers in arts and music, Korean and Korean history, ESL, K-GED, or for U.S. college admissions, SAT preparation, and subject-specific AP classes as needed.
- Each morning begins with a Bible contemplation. Once a week, we have a chapel service together. Praise and prayer are led by students and staff, and the message is delivered by a variety of invited preachers. Simultaneous interpretation is available as needed.
- Students learn to serve in voluntary school activities. They help clean and wash dishes, share with each other in clubs, and occasionally visit organizations to volunteer.
- Throughout the year, we have special events such as school trips and outdoor sports, and every month we go on field trips with the most appropriate programs.
- Students are from diverse backgrounds. We welcome MKs, PKs, and lay Christian families from any country. SCiS is a non-profit school where entire school fees and funds raised are used for school operations. However, we may offer a certain reduction or exemption of the school fee if parents are actively involved in the school works. If one is in need of scholarships, we pray together and find a way.
- Started as Sejong Global School in Cheonan in September 2011
- Moved campus to Daejeon in February 2018
- Changed school name to Sejong Christian International School in January 2020
- From July 2022, we are authorized and registered as an alternative school with the new name of Segyero Christian integrated School.
